Supervisory Interdisciplinary with Security Clearance

Dutieso Works under the general supervision of the Chief, Engineering and Construction Division with full technical and managerial responsibility over military construction projects.
o Exercises independent, delegated decision-making authority on construction management actions.
o As an Area Engineer, the incumbent serves as the Engineer in charge of the military construction mission in an assigned geographical area.
o Plans, directs, and supervises the administration and management of a large diverse and changing military construction workload in a widely dispersed area of subordinate Resident offices.
o Serves as Administrative Contracting Officer and is delegated Contracting Officer's Representative authority on all contracts in assigned geographical area.
o Evaluates and recommends organizational structure, personnel requirements, and establishment of project offices to ensure proper management of the assigned military construction program.
o Supervises, through subordinate supervisors, 25-35 employees engaged in military construction functions and activities.
o Represents the District Commander and maintains close contact with supported commanders to ensure that the military construction program is executed in a timely and cost effective mannerRequirements Conditions of Employmento One year trial/probationary period may be required.
