Brussels (hybrid) Introduction / Context:
DECIDE is the Decision-Making Process portal, composed of several modules that work with one another.
It is an ecosystem that covers the entire Commission's decision-making process from programming to adoption:
Planning, Consultation and Decision.
It also allows managing the replies to parliamentary questions, to the Ombudsman investigations and to citizen's petitions.
Data and documents progress from one-step to the next without re-encoding.
Decide has search and management functions and allows user to work on non-procedural documents such as Commission agendas and minutes of other institutions' meetings.
The main owner is the Secretary General.
The users of the European Commission are all Directorate-Generals.
Description of tasks (non-exhaustive):
Management and follow up of 2nd and 3rd level incidents and requests related to DECIDE modules.
Keep any user manuals, FAQ, wikis, and information dashboards updated by documenting all relevant information.
Provide services to all stakeholders according to ITIL best practices; handling and documenting all requests.
Participation in service and project meetings Perform end-user related functional compliance tests on the new releases of DECIDE.
Knowledge and skills:
Very good oral and written communication skills in English and French.
Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Proven knowledge in end user assistance or application support.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word.
Good knowledge of SQL.
Strong analytical, problem solving and learning skills.
Experienced user of web-based tools.
Able to work in an international and multicultural environment.
Flexible.
Independent.
Team player.
Knowledge of/or experience in ITIL environment.
Experience with ticketing systems.
Ability to give presentations.
Good IT skills.
Other requirements:
EU Citizenship.
Resident or available to relocate to Belgium.
